Dear phlebologists from all over the world, dear leaders of professional phlebological societies of the world – national, multinational or continental, dear manufacturers of medical equipment for phlebology, dear producers of venopharmaceuticals, dear educational phlebological institutions of all types,
We are choosing this unusually comprehensive approach to invite you to this extraordinary event, which will be organized on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of organized phlebology in the Czech Republic and at the same time the 50th anniversary of its entry into the most important worldwide organization of phlebologists – the International Union of Phlebology (UIP). UIP has granted our event the highest support and auspices. Cooperation was also promised by representatives of EVF, ECoP, AVLA, AVF, ICC, VLU, w-Win foundation and many others… We are also hoping for the support of our brethren ranking from angiology, lymphology, vascular surgery, radiology and other overlapping fields of medicine.
What makes this event, which we called World of Phlebology 2025, extraordinary?
Phlebogy, as an interdisciplinary field, has experienced an extraordinary shift in the last 20 years with diagnostics, therapy, and subsequent care for people with chronic venous disease of all types. Information about these innovations flows through various channels, at different corporate, national, multinational, continental, and global levels. We have many different guidelines that often differ significantly.
We would therefore like, as our innovative intention, to:
- bring together, perhaps for the first time, representatives of not only the majority of national but especially the main international and inter-disciplinary societies operating in the field of phlebology,
- incorporate all relevant producers of everything needed for this field – big and small – and together discuss current topics with the aim of finding common consensus conclusions, including technological possibilities.
The theme of our conference is thus uniting major independent societies under one roof while closely incorporating industrial representatives in order to bring higly exclusive and qualified program assessing both medical expertise and technological advancement.
(Please note that this in no way means to give any biased lectures or to tolerate any conflicts of interests).
